Our Tratoria

Nestled on a charming cobblestone street lies Tavola Calda, a restaurant steeped in history. Whisperings of its past echo within its walls, telling tales of weary travelers finding solace in steaming plates and lively conversations around sturdy wooden tables. More than just a restaurant, Tavola Calda was a community hub, its recipes passed down through generations, each infused with local flair and family secrets.

Today, Tavola Calda stands reborn, preserving its cherished heritage while embracing fresh flavors. Step inside and feel the warmth of the past mingle with the energy of the present. Prepare to be swept away on a journey through time, savoring dishes that whisper stories of bygone eras.

Our Chef

Generations whisper in its walls, where laughter once mingled with the clatter of warming plates. Now, Nonna’s recipes dance on modern tongues, gnocchi pillowy, sauces simmered with Tuscan sunshine.

Enter Chef Marco, Nonna’s warmth in his smile, years of passion in his calloused hands. He elevates tradition, like his wild boar ragu, a symphony of autumn on your plate.

More than food, it’s a tapestry of senses. Rosemary swirls with happy chatter, local art bursts from the walls. Savor each bite, time slows, generations connect. This is Tavola Calda, the “warm table.” Gather, experience, be nourished.

Very lively atmosphere. Our server was great. The honey focaccia bread ($22) was delightful. Carne pizza $19 was good. The orecchiette pasta $19 was really good. Large patio right on India Street is great atmosphere if the weather is nice. They have outdoor heaters.

We went there for brunch when I was craving for some eggs. We had a avacado sandwich and green egg with ham, house potatoes and toast. Both the dishes were amazing and the quantity was also good. I would like to call out the service which was pretty nice. I would definitely visit this place again. Nice to go on a Saturday when you can also go around the farmers market.
